Biography
Delon is of Indian origin and has proudly become an Australian citizen since moving to WA seven years ago. Delon completed his Honours in Fine Art at the University of Durban-Westville in 1999 followed by a Diploma of Graphic & Web Design in Australia in 2005.
Delon has had many highlights in his artistic career with the pinnacle being an AFI nomination in 2007 for the "Visual Effects Award" for his digital matte paintings in the three part dramatised documentary, "Air Australia", produced by the ABC in association with Screenwest & Vue Dc. Delon has also worked on several traditional painting commissions, painting a variey of themes from war to religious subjects, through to pure abstracts to fulfill a purely decorative need. "Much of what I create these days is digital. For me, it's an exciting new medium with endless possibilities. The fundamentals of good art & design is still of utmost importance. People who have had a good grounding in traditional mediums, make awesome digital artists once they master the new medium, in my opinion at least."
Delon is the owner operator of the Rockingham based Graphic & Web Design Agency "Vector & Pixel". Delon's fine art background gives the many brochures, catalogues, websites & other publications he designs a very special creative & eye catching edge. The success of his agency is testament to this.
